What are BFT smart motors and how to use them with TaHoma®?

BFT launches the first Somfy compatible solution for smart native motors: EasyAXS Connectivity Modules.

Thanks to the 2 expansion cards pluged into the motors’ control board, they become natively connected, meaning that they can be paired to TaHoma® app directly, without the need of a gateway. ​

The modules come in 2 different versions: ​

• B-EBA Wifi EVO: Wifi/BLE plug&play module to provide native connectivity to BFT GO/GDO motor​
• B-EBA Mobile: Mobile/BLE (4G) plug&play module to provide native connectivity to BFT GO/GDO motors ​ ​

These modules can be used through TaHoma® in 2 cases: ​

• I have a TaHoma® gateway and I'm adding an EasyAXS connectivity module: follow the normal pairing process​
• I do not have a TaHoma® gateway and I wish to control my EasyAXS with the TaHoma® app:

Process:

1. Select "A BFT EasyAXS connected access product"

2. Login or create your Somfy account

3. Select your country

4. Go close to your BFT product

5.  Authorize TaHoma® app to access Bluetooth

6. Wait the detection of your BFT equipment

7.  If several devices have been detected, select the one you want to connect

8.  Wait for the scanning of your Wi-Fi networks

9. Select the Wi-Fi networks

10. Your BFT equipment is paired and ready to be used with Tahoma® app!
